In the highlands of South Cotabato, the land tells its own story. Lakes, forests, and sky unfold with a quiet kind of majesty. We were invited to design spaces that embraced this landscape, not as a backdrop, but as a living part of the experience.
We turned to local materials like bamboo, timber, and thatch to create spaces that feel open, grounded, and light for ecotourists to have homestays and various wellness activities. Reinforced concrete was introduced only where necessary, bringing strength without overpowering the natural rhythm. The architecture follows a simple approach: traditional thought, contemporary construction.
These spaces are more than places to stay. They are an invitation to slow down, to listen, and to recognize that the traditions of these communities are not just alive, they are essential. This diversity is our strength.
